Jackie Davis leads City Mission Ministries, the organization overseeing the San Bernardino, Riverside, and Las Vegas City Missions.

From a young age, Jackie has been dedicated to serving those in need, particularly seniors and low-income families. Her passion is to equip people with the tools to improve their lives while introducing them to Jesus.

In 1997, she was excited to help launch the San Bernardino City Mission—a place where people in need could find food, clean clothing, blankets, shoes, spiritual support, Christian counseling, and most importantly, a reminder that someone cares.

That same passion led her to help establish the Riverside and Las Vegas City Missions in 1997 and 1998.

Jackie’s background includes roles with the Los Angeles Mission, San Diego Rescue Mission, Orange County Rescue Mission, and San Fernando Rescue Mission, where she held positions ranging from staff support to Senior Vice President. In 2020, she became President and CEO of City Mission Ministries.

She is deeply grateful for every contribution, whether it’s a $10,000 donation or a child selling toys to raise $10 for food. Big or small, she values every gift given from the heart to help the poor.

Meet the City Mission Ministries Leaders

  • Marie Scott

Director of Volunteer Services for San Bernardino and Riverside City Mission.

My life has been one of service, either through Real Estate, my church, or the City Mission. From an early age, I always had a passion for helping the "underdog". So when I discovered the City Mission, more than 10 years ago, volunteering seemed to be where God had been directing me all my life. Now, I work with others who want to do the same thing -- help people in need by volunteering.

  • Cookie Gomez

Assistant Director for City Mission of Las Vegas

Each day finds Cookie preparing food for the poor, sharing devotions, distributing clothing, and praying with Mission guests. She oversees our outreach meals and coordinates volunteer activities. She also handles the distribution of Family Food Boxes and gift-in-kind solicitations. Before joining the Mission staff, Cookie worked as a customer relations professional for 15 years. She has been a Christian since 1984 and was active in Victory Outreach, where she received a certification in evangelism. At her church, she worked with the children’s church and was president of the women’s ministry. She is married and has four grown children.

  • Anna Gaccione

Director of Outreach Ministries for Riverside and San Bernardino City Mission

Hi, my name is Anna, and I’m the Outreach Director for City Mission Ministries. I retired from the automobile industry in 2016 and was eager to volunteer with a Christian organization. My brother and I began delivering food boxes for City Mission, and we absolutely loved it. After two years of volunteering, I was invited to join the City Mission team, which has been an incredible privilege. Working alongside a team that loves the Lord and His people has been such a blessing.

I live with my 83-year-old mother and brother, and my entire family, including my niece, continues to volunteer at the mission. It’s become a special time for us, filled with joyful memories. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, crocheting, and gardening.

  • Leo Gomez

Operations and Program Manager for City Mission of Las Vegas.

Leo is our “jack of all trades”. He is responsible for loading the truck, ministers the Word, and personal counseling. He oversees our cold storage operations, inventory of food and supplies, and building and vehicle maintenance. Leo is a certified upholsterer with extensive experience as a painter and handyman. After receiving Christ as his personal Savior, he graduated from Victory Outreach, where he studied theology and preaching. He also served as a Sunday School teacher and worship leader. Leo is married to Cookie and has four children.

Vice President of City Mission Ministries

Corrie works in our central office, managing special events and processing gift-in-kind donations. She oversees the Counseling Center, providing marriage and family counseling for family problems, restoring relationships, and recovery and rehabilitation, etc. She also oversees all logistics and operations of our Resource Center which serves all aspects of the City Mission mobile outreaches – meals, Bag of Hope preparation and distribution, Family Food Box packing and distribution, clothing sorting and distribution, household furnishings, transportation, employees and volunteers, warehouse and kitchen management.
