City Mission

The San Bernardino City Mission is a part of City Mission Ministries, a Christian not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. City Mission Ministries also operates missions in Riverside, California, and Las Vegas, Nevada.

We are a unique Mobile Ministry! Our primary focus is feeding the hungry, and serving low-income families, senior citizens, and the homeless. All of our life essential services are provided from a mobile platform. Our trucks leave our Resource Center and travel to various service locations such as churches, mobile home parks, low-income trailer parks, and senior centers.

  • There are many opportunities to help! We need people who can help process donations, pack and distribute food boxes, sort clothing, clean and garden, repair and maintain vehicles, conduct a food drive, and much more. If you're interested in volunteering, click here.

  • No. Strict local regulations have made it impractical for us to run a residential program in our city. Instead, we feed the hungry, help the poor and needy, and provide spiritual guidance to everyone who comes to us. We then refer those who need long-term help to our excellent network of residential program providers.

  • No. We are an independent faith-based Christian organization. As such, we cooperate and partner with churches of all denominations.

  • No. There are often strings attached to government funds that would inhibit our ability to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our clients. So we do not accept government funds of any kind - city, county, state, or federal.
